About Us

Founded in 2006, Cobitil Limited (pronounced cob-it-il) is based in Hertfordshire with the name coming from an amalgamation of the IT Governance best practice of CobiT and the IT Service Management best practice of ITIL.

We currently specialise in the niche area of IT Service Management using ITIL but recognise that it is no longer appropriate to use best-practice frameworks such as CobiT, ITIL, CMM and ISO 17799 in isolation and that by using them together can result in our customers achieving competetive advantage.

We aim to deliver a full spectrum of services and provide our customers with a one-stop-shop for all their Service Management needs.

Because we are a small consultancy company we are able to offer the personal touch and take time to fully understand the needs of our client's business whilst offering cost effective solutions. All of our consultants and associates are ITIL qualified and have "hands on" experience which enables us to understand what is needed to improve IT service provision in a real-life environment.
